How far in advance should I book a tent?

We recommend booking at least 2-4 weeks in advance for weekend events, and 4-6 weeks for large marquees (150+ guests) or peak seasons like December, Easter, and August. Last-minute bookings may be possible, subject to live availability.

Do you erect and take down the tent?

Yes. All tent hire includes full setup and strike (dismantling) by our trained crew. We arrive the day before your event or on the morning of your event to erect the tent, and return after your event to take it down and collect.

What tent size do I need for my guests?

A helpful guide: 10x10m seats approximately 50 guests for dining; 10x15m seats 80 guests; 12x20m seats 120 guests with a dance floor; 15x30m suits 200-250 guests. For seated dinners with a stage, allow 20-30% extra space. We can help you pick the right size.

What is your policy if it rains?

All our tents are waterproof and wind-resistant. We monitor forecasts before your event and advise if conditions are likely to be severe. In rare cases of extreme weather, we may recommend additional anchoring.

Can I add flooring, draping, or lighting?

Yes - popular add-ons include carpet flooring, tent lining and draping, fairy lights, chandeliers, sidewall panels, and generator hire. These are priced separately. Ask for an all-inclusive quote when you inquire.

What deposit is required to secure a booking?

An 80% deposit secures your event date. The remaining 20% balance and delivery/collection charge are due upon delivery after setup and client confirmation. We accept M-Pesa, bank transfer, and card payments.

Do you deliver outside Nairobi?

Yes - we deliver to Kiambu, Machakos, Kajiado, Murang'a, and other nearby counties for large events. Round-trip delivery and collection cost is calculated by actual distance. Contact us for an out-of-Nairobi delivery quote.

How long does it take to erect and dismantle a tent?

A small frame tent (up to 6x6m) typically takes 2-3 hours to erect. A large marquee (15x30m+) can take a full day with our full crew. We usually erect the tent the afternoon before your event and return for dismantling the morning after, unless you need same-day setup. We factor all this into your booking.

Can tents be customised with sidewalls, linings, lighting or branding?

Yes - we offer a full range of add-ons: opaque or clear sidewall panels, tent lining and draping in your chosen colour, fairy lights, chandeliers, festoon lighting, branded banners, and carpet or vinyl flooring.
